Loi Krathong 2014 Through Our Eyes

Hello all! I'm Brandon, Stephanie's other half that forms @wemustdash Unfortunately I've been slacking a tad (it's pretty hard to be disciplined enough to sit in front of a computer and edit video when you're doing so much each day). I wanted to make this my first post as we had such a great time at the festival. Loi Krathong lights up the skies & waters of Chiang Mai for three nights every year. People gather to release small boats made from banana tree stalks. These symbolize a renewal of self, and sending your prayers and wishes out into the universe. Along side these small boats people also release the popular paper lanterns often written upon with the names of friends & family members who may have passed. The main night of the festival was November 7th 2014

Ever wanted to visit Thailand during Loi Krathong? Thumbs up, subscribe (click the little mustache in the corner of the video) and share this video with some friends you would like to bring!
